Lindsey Calcutt, Ph.D.

Dr. Lindsey Calcutt is a business leader and technical founder with deep experience across the medical device, pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. A partner at Catalyst Rise Ventures, she serves as a board member, investor and advisor to start-up companies in women’s health, cardiovascular and oncology sectors. She also serves on the Executive Board of the American Heart Association and is a mentor to early-stage founders and students through Launchpad at Clemson University.
Calcutt has held multiple senior executive roles, including founder, CEO, and executive vice president of several medical technology companies: Incora Health, Diaxamed, Brookhaven Medical (acquired) and Creativasc (acquired). Her expertise in technology-oriented businesses enables her to leverage cutting-edge tools and methodologies to develop innovative solutions and drive high-growth value.
Calcutt holds a doctorate in bioengineering from Clemson University and is a registered patent agent for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She is also a committed mentor, leader and advocate for women founders in health innovation and technology.
I.V. Hall
Managing Director and CEO | Next Science
Harry Thomas Hall I.V. is a creative senior leader with over 30 years of experience in the global medical device industry. Hall currently serves as chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director of Next Science (ASX: NXS), a medical technology company focused on combating biofilm-based infections through its proprietary XBio™ technology. Recruited by the board in 2023 to lead a company turnaround, he successfully achieved positive cash flow within a year, executed strategic capital investments, resolved FDA compliance challenges and guided multiple asset acquisitions exceeding four times market value.
An advocate for engineering education and medical innovation, Hall serves on advisory boards for Clemson University’s College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Science, and College of Engineering, Bioengineering. He also serves on the board of the AO Foundation in Davos, Switzerland.
Hall holds a master’s in business administration from Pennsylvania State University, a master’s in bioengineering and a bachelor’s in ceramic engineering from Clemson University. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Woody Bryan, Ph.D.
President and CEO | Revolo Biotherapeutics
Dr. Jones (Woody) Bryan is a highly experienced and regarded professional with a successful track record in the healthcare industry. He has been highly involved with strategy, business development, project management and other key functions within both private and public pharma/biotech companies.
Prior to joining Revolo, Bryan served as senior vice president (SVP) of business development at UroGen Pharmaceuticals Inc., where he spearheaded the business development effort to expand the company’s portfolio through the in-licensing of a novel immune checkpoint inhibitor being developed for the treatment of bladder cancer.
Bryan served as SVP of business development at Sucampo Pharmaceuticals Inc., where he led the acquisition by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals for $1.2 billion. Prior to joining Sucampo, Byran’s positions included SVP of business development at Lupin Pharmaceuticals Inc.; vice president (VP) of business development, licensing at Supernus Pharmaceuticals Inc.; VP of business development, licensing and project management at Shire Laboratories; and scientific and business development leadership positions at AAI Pharma (rebranded as Alcami) and Schering-Plough (rebranded as Merck).
Bryan holds a doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina, an executive management certificate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler School of Business and a bachelor’s in zoology from Clemson University.
