How to Become a Certified Evaluator

BCSI requires that evaluators first pass the testing. Day One of the Training Event will be a day devoted to assessment in the Essential Five Credentials:

  •   Quantitative Lab Skills or Numeracy
  •   Aseptic Technique
  •   Small Volume Metrology
  •   Lab Safety: Hazard Assessment
  •   SOP/Documentation

The assessment methods and objectives for the credentials can be examined on the website at www.coreskillsinstitute.com , but please feel free to reach out to allia@coreskillsinstitute with any questions you might have to prepare for your testing.  We will forward a study guide to brush up before the testing event.  You will be awarded digital microcredentials for each of these skills, and the cost is $20/badge ($100 total) for the testing.

Once you have passed the assessments on Day One, you are qualified to be trained as a BCSI Certified Evaluator on Day Two. This certification comes with an additional digital badge only granted to those who have completed the training. This training certifies that you can deliver BCSI assessment services on behalf of the organization to students outside of your own training program.
