SOUTH CAROLINA – February 6, 2025 – SCbio is pleased to welcome Daniel Grove GPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, director of human resources (HR) at Lonza, to its Strategic Advisory Board.
With more than 15 years of experience in HR management and leadership, Grove is an expert in employee recruitment, retention, staff development, mediation, conflict resolution, benefits and compensation, HR policy development and legal compliance. He is known for partnering with senior executives and cross-functional teams to align HR strategies with business objectives and is passionate about creating positive, inclusive and high-performance cultures that support growth and innovation.
Prior to joining Lonza in July 2024, Grove served as head of HR at Samsung Electronics Home Appliances for six years, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing employee retention, improving workplace culture and developing leadership training programs. He also introduced employee resource groups to support employee engagement.
Other previous roles include serving as the HR manager at Timken in Anderson, S.C., where he implemented a Management Operating System and numerous apprenticeship programs.
Grove holds a bachelor’s in biology from Francis Marion University and a master’s in human resources management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
