Atticus Pharma, Blotting Innovations, GreenCape Health, and Tikvah Health & Wellness were accepted as South Carolina Research Authority Member Companies. Health Evolve Technologies received new grant funding.
All SCRA Member Companies receive coaching and access to SCRA’s Member Benefits and Startup Resources, can apply for grant funding, and have the potential to be considered for investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc.
Atticus Pharma Inc. has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Greenville-based life science startup is a spinout of Zylö Therapeutics, an SC Launch Inc. Portfolio Company. Atticus Pharma’s mission is to unlock the value of Zylö’s Z-pod® topical delivery platform in the pharmaceutical industry.
Blotting Innovations Inc. has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Central-based life science startup is developing solutions for high-throughput and affordable Western Blotting. Their 96-well Western Blot product makes high-efficiency and precise protein analysis accessible.
GreenCape Health Inc. has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Greenville-based life science startup has developed aproduct called the RheumApp, which is the first patient-reported outcomes platform built for rheumatology. RheumApp allows providers to better care for patients suffering from serious chronic diseases by integrating patient-reported symptom data into clinical care and decision-making.
Health Evolve Technologies LLC received a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. The Columbia-based information technology company builds patient-centered technologies that provide comprehensive and simple tools to position patients as partners and equip providers with clinical insights needed for a personalized care experience.
Tikvah Health & Wellness Corporation has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Mount Pleasant-based life science startup has developed the Tikvah community-based platform that harnesses the advantages of both natural and conventional medicine, delivering authentic care and pragmatic solutions.
SCRA welcomes these new Member Companies and congratulates those that received funding.
Grant funding is made possible, in part, by SCRA’s tax credit program, the Industry Partnership Fund, and its contributions that fuel the state’s innovation economy. Contributors to the IPF receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit, making it an easy and effective way to help one of the fastest-growing segments of the South Carolina economy. Grant funding for Member Companies creates a direct, positive economic effect and job creation.
